Rinehart 2 into 1 pipes I am a self admitted pipe junkie. I admit it, I like to experiment with the different looks that a new set of pipes give, the different sounds that a set of pipes gives your Harley and last but not least, the different effects on the power level of your Harley Davidson.

Most new riders immediately complete a Stage 1 upgrade on their bikes upon buying their first Harley Davidson. The most important part of the Stage 1 upgrade is the pipe. I don't know of another external type bolt on that can impact the power band of your Harley Davidson motorcycle than the right exhaust pipe.

The Rinehart 2 into 1 pipe is one that I was dying to try as I really liked the way it looked on another FXSTB that I had seen on a ride one night. The chrome was flawless and the aggressive looking muffler was pretty sexy in my opinion. Who doesn't want a sexy looking Harley?

Rinehart 2 into 1 Sound

What does a Rinehart 2 into 1 sound like? Great question....I don't know why anyone bothers to ask these questions as sounds are interpreted so differently from person to person.

What sounds loud to one person, is just right to another so the only thing I can say is take anything anyone says about sound with a grain of salt. You would be better off to go park in the lot of your local Harley Davidson dealer and wait. I'd bet within an hour at least 1 of most types of pipes will show up on any given Saturday. Just listen to what they sound like in person.

My opinion of the Rinehart 2 into 1 pipe is that it sounds pretty good. It's a distinct bassy sound that most of the 2 into 1 pipes give and it has the distinct Rinehart chirp. This is hard to describe but Rinehart pipes are all known for it and even though it is barely noticeable, some people do not like it. Listen to a set at your dealer to see what I mean.

Rinehart 2 into 1 Power

How much power will a Rinehart 2 into 1 pipe give my bike? Another tough question to answer as all bikes will respond differently. On my own personal bike I replaced Vance and Hines Big Shot Staggered pipes with the Rinehart 2 into 1 pipe.

I dyno'd at 104hp and 110 ft/lbs with the V&H Big Shot pipes and I dyno'd at 110hp and 117 ft/lbs with the Rinehart pipe. The peak power was not very different but the pipe did offer a significant increase in the mid-range and low end that was very easy to feel on the "butt" dyno.

The Rinehart 2 into 1 pipe is a great all around performer that looks fantastic and performs very well. This pipe will really shine on stock or mildly modified Harley Davidsons and you should be able to feel a significant difference in the way your Harley feels riding around. 2 into 1 pipes are known for producing miles of smiles and they make riding much more enjoyable.

Rinehart 2 into 1 Fit and Finish

Harley Rinehart 2 into 1 Pipes The Rinehart pipe fit my bike very nicely and went on in just about an hour or less. The chrome was almost perfect and the brackets lined up just right. The pipe needed no massaging to get installed at all.

The only issue I have with the fit and finish of the Rinehart 2 into 1 pipe is the collector shield where the 2 pipes join and merge into 1 pipe. The Rinehart uses a cover that goes over the merged pipe and makes it a clean transition.

My cover fit very poorly out of the box. I will say I was easily able to massage and manipulate it to get it to fit right but it was annoying and in my opinion, never quite looked right ever. I have seen other Rinehart pipes where the cover looked great and blended in nicely but mine wasn't one of those.

It's not the best design but the overall pipe still looks great. That's my 2007 FXSTB in the picture above.

Rinehart 2 into 1 Overall Review

To wrap up the review I would say I could and would easily recommend the Rinehart 2 into 1 Harley pipe to anyone looking for a solid performing 2 into 1 pipe that sounds great and looks even better. This pipe does it all, it has the right look, the right sound and the right performance to make you happy and on top of that it fit my bike like a glove as well. I tend not to keep the same pipes on my personal motorcycle very long but I can honestly say I really liked this pipe.

The Rinehart 2 into 1 pipe is a great overall pipe for a Harley Davidson and you won't go wrong with it.
