If you've got an old hunk of crap bike with an old hunk of crap set of pipes on it then go for it...who cares. On an 06 Deluxe running 700 dollar pipes....I would simply leave it alone or change to a competition style baffle if you absolutely MUST have it louder. In most cases though, especially on Vance and Hines, the pipes are plenty loud enough right out of the box. Don't remove the baffles......wouldn't be prudent....not at this juncture. Removing the baffles from a set of pipes like Vance and Hines is not that smart. If you’ve got an old hunk of crap bike with an old hunk of crap set of pipes on it then go for it…who cares.
